Vista Travel Web App
Overview
The goal of this project was to streamline travel booking and make the web app a tool throughout a user's vacation. There are aspects for social interaction and managing events you are attending throughout a trip. A complete, customizable, and interactive web app for your travels.
User Profile
I started by defining a target audience that the web tool would cater to. I conducted interviews with multiple users in the mid-20s to early 30s age bracket to define what their travel habits were, and what they looked for when planning and booking a trip. I then consolidated the findings to form a user persona. This persona guided my decision-making throughout the rest of the project.
The Flow
Next, I created a flowchart outlining the structure of the platform. A few key components I added to solve user needs were the Customize Trip tool, a personalized Home Page, and a comprehensive My Trip Information page.
Wireframing
After defining the flow, I needed to block out the screens the user would be interacting with. My main priorities were the trip customization tool and the user sign-up process. Both of these features needed to be clear, concise, and easy to use.
Final UI
I proceeded with designing the final landing page and user interface.
